About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing labour relations, resolving workplace conflicts, and promoting a positive work environment at the Agricultural Research Council.

Key Accountabilities
  • Labour Relations Management: Coordinate the implementation of labour relations policies and procedures, ensuring seamless execution across the organisation.
  • Conflict Resolution Strategies: Design and implement effective conflict resolution strategies to address workplace disputes and promote labour peace.
  • Legislative Compliance: Ensure compliance with relevant labour laws and regulations, including the Occupational Health and Safety Act.
  • Expert Advice: Provide high-quality labour relations advice to managers and employees, addressing their queries and concerns.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will require:

  • A strong understanding of labour relations principles and practices.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Experience in conflict resolution and mediation.
