About This Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and experienced Sales Manager to join our client's team in the Western Cape region. As a key member of the sales team, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth and achieving sales targets in the Packaging Industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales Strategy Development: Develop and implement effective sales strategies to drive revenue growth and achieve sales targets.
  • Customer Relationship Building: Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers to identify new business opportunities and drive sales growth.
  • Sales Team Leadership: Lead a team of sales representatives and provide coaching and training to support their success.
  • Market Analysis: Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify potential threats and opportunities.
  • Supply Chain Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure product availability.
  • Performance Monitoring: Prepare sales forecasts and budgets and monitor performance against targets.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.

Requirements:

  • Educational Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of sales experience in the Packaging Industry.
  • Track Record: Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
  • Leadership Skills: Strong leadership skills and ability to motivate and inspire a sales team.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Market Knowledge: Knowledge of market trends and competitor activities in the Packaging Industry.
  • Travel Requirements: Ability to travel within the Western Cape region as required.
  • Driver's License: Driver's license and own vehicle.
