Responsibilities
  • Evaluate and promote better services to customers at all times, ensuring a positive shopping experience across all stores.
  • Control and monitor store fixtures, maintaining a visually appealing and organized store environment.
  • Monitor stores monthly sales and growth, identifying trends and areas for improvement.
  • Implement strategic initiatives as required by the Retail Manager, driving business growth and success.
  • Ensure that all planned products are ordered and displayed in all Cape Town stores, meeting customer demands and expectations.
  • Responsible for ordering and execution of all seasonal and everyday stock, maintaining optimal inventory levels.
  • Evaluate and analyze allocated stores monthly sales and growth in accordance with monthly targets, providing insights for future planning.
  • Address complaints and resolve problems within all stores as required, demonstrating excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Advise the Retail Manager of concerns relating to operational issues and general correspondence, fostering open communication.
  • Assist in the annual stock take in all stores when required, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  • Ensure that general correspondence is adhered to, maintaining a professional tone and image.
  • Manage health and safety and maintenance of all Cape Town stores, prioritizing employee and customer well-being.
Requirements
  • Relevant tertiary qualification, such as a degree or diploma in Business Administration or a related field.
  • A minimum of 5 years solid retail experience in FMCG, with a proven track record of success.
  • A valid driver's license, essential for travel between stores.
  • Must have management experience, with a strong ability to lead and motivate teams.
  • Excellent computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software.
  • Professional and presentable, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Well-spoken, with negotiation skills and the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
