Retail Leasing Director Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Retail Leasing Director to lead our leasing operations team at Drake International. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all leasing functions, including reviewing and negotiating lease transactions and agreements.

This role requires a strategic thinker who can identify opportunities for growth and improvement within the leasing operations department. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of commercial leasing practices, a minimum of 5 years experience in lease negotiations, and a valid driver's license.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Lease Negotiations: Manage lease negotiations with landlords and tenants to secure mutually beneficial agreements.
  2. Team Management: Lead and motivate the leasing operations team to achieve business objectives.
  3. Site Scouting: Identify new site opportunities and negotiate deals associated with potential new stores or relocation of existing stores.
  4. Board Approvals: Ensure board approvals on leasing decisions from landlords and Franchisor on behalf of Franchisees.
  5. Reporting: Prepare and present regular reports to senior management on leasing performance and costs.
