Job Summary:

CA Financial Appointments is seeking an experienced Institutional Fund Accountant to join our team. As a key member of our financial services team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality fund accounting services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process and set up relevant segregated funds fees, ensuring accurate and timely completion.
  • Verify Variation Margin transactions and reconcile with Clearing House Statements on a daily basis.
  • Accurately process and record 3rd Party duplication trades in the accounting system.
  • Price funds and value financial instruments in line with the funds' performance, including equities, bonds, and derivatives.
  • Prepare and distribute client reports on a daily and monthly basis.
  • Respond to internal and external client queries in a timely and professional manner.
  • Implement and maintain appropriate controls to mitigate risk.
  • Support the management and coordination of team deliverables and new client onboarding.
  • Perform daily cash and scrip reconciliations.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Investments.
  • 1-2 years of experience in fund accounting or investment administration.
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of asset management operations.
  • Proficient in Excel and other financial software.
  • Attention to detail, methodical, and self-motivated.
