Job Title: HR and Payroll Administrator

We are seeking a highly skilled HR and Payroll Administrator to join our team at Empire Recruitment. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the payroll process, ensuring accurate and timely payments to employees, and providing administrative support to the HR department.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Payroll Administration: Load employee data onto Pastel payroll/ESS, update and amend bank details, and notify M-Cubed/Medical Aid Administrators of changes in salaries, starters, and leavers.
  • Payroll Processing: Prepare monthly payroll, provide reports to HR Management and Exco for review and sign-off, and reconcile monthly benefits and medical aid.
  • Employee Benefits Administration: Monitor and administer employee benefits, including medical aid, leave, and other benefits.
  • HR Support: Provide administrative support to the HR department, including updating contracts, preparing employee handbooks, and maintaining employee records.
Requirements:
  • BCom/NDip in Finance or similar qualification.
  • Minimum two to three years' relevant work experience in Short Term Insurance.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
