About this Opportunity:

The Talent Room is excited to offer an HR/IR Assistant position to an exceptional candidate. This role is perfect for someone who is passionate about HR and has experience in various aspects of human resources.

Key Accountabilities:
  • Recruitment and Employee Integration:
    • Contribute to the recruitment process by assisting in job postings, candidate sourcing, and interview scheduling.
    • Ensure a seamless onboarding experience for new hires by facilitating all necessary documentation and orientation.
  • Labour Relations and Conflict Resolution:
    • Collaborate with the HR Manager to resolve labor-related issues, including conflicts and disciplinary actions.
    • Guarantee adherence to labor laws and regulations, and assist in resolving employee disputes.
  • Payroll Administration:
    • Manage payroll processing to ensure timely and accurate payments.
    • Assist with leave management, employee benefits administration, and payroll inquiries.
  • HR Systems and Documentation:
    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and HR databases.
    • Develop and prepare HR documents, such as contracts, appointment letters, and performance evaluations.
    • Support the organization of training sessions and employee development programs.
  • Employee Engagement and Communications:
    • Provide support to employees on HR-related matters, including policies, procedures, and benefits.
    • Contribute to employee engagement initiatives and events to foster a positive work environment.
  • Metrics and Reporting:
    • Verify that all HR practices align with South African labor laws and company policies.
    • Compile HR reports on essential metrics, such as employee turnover, attendance, and performance.

Estimated Salary Range: R 380,000 - R 480,000 per year
