Essential Qualifications:
- Completion of the National Senior Certificate
- 2-3 years of experience in short-term insurance
- Fundamental understanding of the short-term insurance sector
Preferred Skills:
- Familiarity with agricultural insurance practices
- Strong organizational and record-keeping abilities
- Proficient in computer applications, particularly Excel and MS Word
- Relevant qualifications in short-term insurance
Key Responsibilities:
- Offer underwriting administrative assistance to regional offices
- Execute additional administrative tasks as directed by the Underwriting Superintendent or Specialist Technical Underwriting Manager
- Ensure adherence to all underwriting administrative policies and procedures relevant to this role
