**About the Role**

We are seeking an experienced Cybersecurity Professional to join our team. As a key member of our security department, you will be responsible for managing Information Security Policies and standards for the group.

You will deal with breaches in our policies and standards and understand why those standards were breached. Document controls and processes involved will also be your focus.

Facilitating work groups to develop, review, and maintain group policies and standards is another crucial aspect of this role. Participating in decision-making around policy and standard requirements will also be expected of you.

In addition, you will consult on projects in terms of identifying risks, vulnerabilities, and controls. Researching and assisting in the implementation of security controls within the organization where appropriate is also a key responsibility.

Maintaining current knowledge of the Information Systems security industry's emerging technologies is essential for this role. Aligning group standards to industry standards and best practices will also be required.

**Requirements**

  • A strong background in Information Security, Group Policy and Standards is required. Experience in Information Security Governance, Exceptions, Continuous Compliance, Training and Awareness is advantageous.
  • Good understanding of Information Security Industry standards and best practices is essential.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills are necessary for success in this role.
  • Decision-making skills and people and function management skills are also required.
