Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Tech Strategist to lead our agile solution design, deployment, and ongoing optimization of enterprise-wide technology products and services. This role requires expertise in full-stack engineering and ownership/control across multiple squads in complex and high-impact business areas.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Collaborate with the CIO and business product owners to define the product and technical strategy.
  2. Manage the senior business interface relationship and assume one-stop shop accountability for the delivery of the product and solutions.
  3. Apply design thinking practices to deliver architecturally sound technical product and service solutions.
  4. Lead the design of product and/or service solution blueprints aligned to the organization's strategy.

Solution Design & Performance Management

Work with cross-functional teams to guide the business on the appropriate technical solution and strategic technical choices. Ensure solutions align to the Group Architecture standards, principles, preferences, and practices. Monitor the performance of products and services ensuring ongoing optimization and cost-to-value for our businesses.

DevOps Expertise

Leverage expert-level skills and knowledge in architecture and infrastructure, design, and manage all development and development practices across squads. Ensure the optimal design and deployment of technical products and services in the organization. Design and implement automation testing, continuous integration, and continuous delivery strategies across squads.

Delivery Management

Resource and manage the appropriate number and nature of squad-based teams to execute on both Run and Change elements of delivery. Work in collaboration with transformation and change teams for effective resourcing and delivery management. Ensure agile practices are implemented and sustained for effective delivery to business.

People Management

Athletic, recruit, develop, retain, reward, and deploy a diverse resource base aligned to an evolving tech environment. Build a high-performance team environment through self-directed teams. Accountable for the right people in the right teams to deliver on our tech strategy. Leverage coaching techniques in all squad-related activity.
