Job Title: Financial Administrator

The HR Company is seeking a skilled Financial Administrator to join our team. As a key member of our financial department, you will be responsible for performing various accounting functions, including reconciliations, journal entries, and bank reconciliations.

About the Role:
In this role, you will work closely with our management team to prepare financial reports, manage cash flow, and ensure compliance with relevant tax laws. You will also be responsible for processing month-end journals, reconciling general ledger accounts, and compiling management accounts.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Reconcile expense and balance sheet accounts
  • Process month-end journals
  • Reconcile bank statements
  • Capture and process invoices
  • Prepare journal entries
  • Reconcile general ledger accounts
  • Compile management accounts and forecasts
  • Manage full tax function, including income tax returns and VAT calculations
  • Prepare monthly management packs

Requirements:
  • BCom. Accounting or equivalent qualification
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar role
  • Self-starter with ability to work independently
  • Experience with Xero and Pastel accounting packages

Salary: R 500,000 - R 700,000 per annum
