About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Patient Admissions Coordinator to join our team at LIFE Healthcare Group. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and administrative support to ensure seamless hospital admissions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing prompt and courteous service to patients, visitors, wards, doctors, colleagues, and other hospitals.
  • Accurately admitting all patients on the Impilo System in accordance with LHC protocol and procedures.
  • Managing the collection of co-payments and private fees from patients.
  • Liaising with medical aids to obtain authorization for all admissions/pre-admissions.
  • Maintaining accurate documentation and completing tasks efficiently.
  • Performing telephone answering duties as per LHC policies.
  • Handling cash transactions according to company cash management protocols.
  • Confirming correct Emergency unit billing and managing the release of accounts to submit to funders.
