The Skills Mine is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Team Leader: Facilities to join our team. As a key member of our facilities management team, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and implementing office moves and expansions, as well as managing general maintenance and procurement of materials and services.
Key Responsibilities:- Office Moves and Expansions: Plan and coordinate office moves and expansions, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
- General Maintenance: Schedule and oversee general maintenance, including plumbing, waste disposal, and air conditioning, and maintain a logbook to track maintenance requests.
- Procurement and Vendor Management: Procure materials, services, and supplies, obtaining necessary approvals from management, and maintain relationships with external vendors in line with service level agreements.
- Quality Control: Check goods and services upon receipt or completion for quality and issue invoices for payment.
- Emergency Preparedness: Assist in the formulation, testing, and implementation of emergency drills and action plans to ensure compliance with OHS requirements.
