Job Title: Senior Solution Architect

At Luminary Talent Sourcing, we are seeking a highly skilled Senior Solution Architect to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for designing and implementing cloud-based security architecture solutions for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Gather functional requirements by working closely with sales team members and enterprise architects to gain a complete understanding of client expectations and limitations.
  • Develop specifications by using familiarity with functional requirements and existing systems to develop project specifications, including schedules and test plans.
  • Determine a project's scope before developers begin any major work, conducting research on client systems and configurations to ensure alignment with enterprise-level systems.
  • Identify areas where implementation may require additional solutions to be successful, communicating directly with enterprise architects, developers, and clients.
  • Direct and oversee the activities of a team of developers, ensuring specifications and requirements are clearly articulated and timelines are met.
  • Interface directly with clients from initial conversations to final presentations, providing feedback and updates on development projects.
  • Prepare reports and presentations, as well as demonstrations, to keep clients informed about issues that arise during development and report on integration and deployment.
  • Work with outside vendors to develop and implement specific aspects of software solutions, considering costs and timelines to ensure vendors meet deadlines and project elements.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Informatics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a relevant field.
  • Honours or Master's in Information Systems, Informatics, Computer Science, or Engineering is preferred.
  • Certified as a Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect Expert (or near completion).
  • TOGAF/Zachman certification would be beneficial.
  • 10 years of working experience in the relevant industry and/or discipline.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in solution design or architecture.
  • Software Development experience is an advantage.
  • Experience in migrating from on-premise infrastructures to cloud environments.
