Client Onboarding Function
CA Financial Appointments seeks a well-respected Client Service Consultant to join their transfer agency team. This role has a focus on the client onboarding function, ensuring seamless integration and compliance with relevant legislation.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the client onboarding process, creating accounts for individuals and legal entities while ensuring all necessary documentation is in place.
- Verify daily that DocFox is authorised and FICA requirements are met before loading investors.
- Confirm that client accounts are approved and authorised in DocFox, investigating any outstanding documents and providing regular feedback to clients.
- Create new clients and update all tags, accurately capturing regulatory classifications (FATC, OECD, ASISA, SARB) and tax classifications (DWT, IWT).
- Ensure daily individual checklists are updated by administrators and signed off by the Team Leader.
- Liaise with compliance and internal audit to ensure adherence to FICA RMCP, reviewing and submitting High-Risk clients to Compliance for review.
- Review static data change requests, performing relevant client callbacks to verify changes and implementing process controls using workflow management.
- Ensure all items have relevant comments for audit purposes and escalate aged items, ensuring no aged items remain in individual queues.
- Review current clients and amend if FICA requirements are not met.
Requirements:
- A minimum of a completed tertiary qualification (preferred) or Matric.
- A minimum of 1-2 years' experience in a similar role relating to client onboarding.
- Previous exposure to applicable legislation.
- Previous experience with reconciliations in the Manco to Inflow & Outflow accounts.
- Strong Excel skills.
