The Recruitment Council is excited to present a unique opportunity for an Insurance Administrative Assistant. This position involves working with clients, providing underwriting assistance, and maintaining good relationships. Key responsibilities include preparing quotations, issuing new policies, and recording details.

To excel in this role, candidates should possess a Matric qualification, NQF 4 in Short Term Insurance, and have completed the RE5 examination. Proficiency in English and at least one other official South African language is also required.

Responsibilities:

  • Liaising with clients to ensure smooth communication.
  • Preparing quotations for new and existing clients, including personal and commercial lines.
  • Issuing new policies, renewals, and endorsements as needed.
  • Maintaining good working relationships with clients and internal stakeholders through effective communication and customer service skills.
  • Recording details and information accurately on relevant systems.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Matric certificate.
  • NQF 4 in Short Term Insurance.
  • RE5 examination successfully completed.
  • Proficient in both spoken and written English, and at least one other official South African language.
  • Good administration skills, including planning, organizing, time management, and client focus.
  • Resilient with a good level of stress tolerance.
