Assistant Insurance Administrator

Are you an ambitious and detail-oriented professional looking for a challenging role? We invite applications for the position of Insurance Administrative Assistant, where you will have the opportunity to work with clients, prepare quotations, and maintain accurate records.
Candidates should possess a strong background in insurance administration, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and a Matric qualification. A NQF 4 in Short Term Insurance and completion of the RE5 examination are also essential requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Liaise with clients to provide underwriting assistance and support.
- Prepare quotations for new and existing clients, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
- Issue new policies, renewals, and endorsements as needed, maintaining good working relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.
- Record details and information accurately on relevant systems, ensuring data integrity.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Matric certificate.
- NQF 4 in Short Term Insurance.
- RE5 examination successfully completed.
- Proficient in both spoken and written English, and at least one other official South African language.
- Good administration skills, including planning, organizing, time management, and client focus.
- Resilient with a good level of stress tolerance.
