Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain accurate and up-to-date general task lists and routings to ensure seamless production planning and execution.
  • Collaborate with production order management, engineering, and manufacturing teams to ensure alignment and effective implementation of general task lists and routings.
  • Ensure compliance with quality standards and best practices to guarantee the delivery of high-quality components to our customers.
  • Provide training and support to production teams on new general task lists and routings, including troubleshooting and addressing operational issues.
  • Identify process improvements and cost savings opportunities within manufacturing task lists and lead initiatives to implement changes in collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Serve as a key interface between production order management and engineering and manufacturing teams.
  • Provide ad-hoc support to order management teams in expediting projects with sub-suppliers and purchase orders with suppliers.

Requirements

  • Minimum Grade 12 or equivalent tertiary qualification.
  • Experience and knowledge of manufacturing environments.
  • 5 years of SAP/ERP systems of production planning experience is essential.
  • Understanding of routings and BOMs is essential.
  • Exposure to CNC, conventional lathes machines, and milling machines is essential.
  • Exposure to turbines, compressors, manufacturing, and refurbishment is essential.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across different teams and levels in the organization.
