Job Overview:
As a Business Development Manager at Alexander Forbes, you will be responsible for managing a team of consultants to ensure the execution of services strategy and generate income from allocated portfolios. You will contribute to the profitability of the branch by providing professional quality service and consulting advice to clients.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Manage and coordinate activities of personnel involved in internal operations or functional areas of a financial institution.
  • Manage client portfolios and teams servicing those portfolios.
  • Oversee office workflow systems incorporating data processing and computer hardware options.
  • Prepare work schedules and assign duties to operations personnel ensuring efficient operation of functional areas.
  • Report on operating functions of departments or branches via required and special reports.
  • Direct employee training to improve efficiency and ensure conformance to standard procedures and practices.

Key Performance Areas:
Managing Client Portfolios
  • Maintain and service client portfolios to add value and achieve satisfaction.
  • Provide medical scheme and product advice.
  • Compile and agree on year plans with each client.
  • Act as interface between members and clients, as well as between clients and internal departments.
