About this Opportunity:

This fully remote Management Accountant role is ideal for a skilled professional with expertise in financial strategy, global finance, and investment readiness. Key Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage accurate financial statements, VAT returns, and management accounts.
  • Oversee cash flow forecasting, budgeting, and financial planning to ensure accuracy and compliance with UK accounting regulations.
  • Conduct mini audits on accounts to ensure they are investor-ready.
  • Support and define the investment strategy for the business, helping to scale revenue.

  • Ensure compliance with HMRC regulations, tax planning, and financial compliance.
  • Implement and enhance ERP and financial software integrations.
  • Drive cost-saving initiatives and process improvements.
  • Handle complex financial discussions with founders and investors confidently.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Accountant (ACA, CIMA, or equivalent).
  • Extensive experience in financial governance and investment readiness within an SME environment.
  • Strong knowledge of global finance markets, multiple currencies, and international trade.
  • Proficiency in UK financial regulations, tax laws, and HMRC compliance.
  • Expertise in Xero and financial modelling for investment analysis.
  • Proven ability to forecast and strategise for business scaling.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment while staying proactive and innovative.
