Fancourt is a prestigious golf club seeking an experienced and organized individual to fill the role of Golf Operations Manager. This position plays a vital part in ensuring the smooth operation of our golf services department.

Job Description

The ideal candidate will possess strong administration skills, the ability to handle pressure, and excellent communication skills. As a Golf Operations Manager, you will be responsible for managing the outside golf operations, providing exceptional service to members and guests, and ensuring seamless communication within the golf department.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage staff in the Outside operations, including monitoring leave, time & attendance, discipline, and training.
  • Coordinate and execute member events and tournaments.
  • Ensure smooth communication within the golf operation departments.
  • Control all handicaps for Fancourt affiliates and address issues relating to handicaps.
  • Conduct bi-annual Asset Audits, monthly OE counts, and submit reports to the Golf Director.
  • Monitor Golf Operations expenses and ensure accurate reporting.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of Grade 12 with 3 years of experience in golf operations.
  • A working knowledge of MS Office and experience with bookings and point-of-sales systems.
  • A valid driver's license.
  • A Club Management or PGA diploma is critical to delivering in this role.
  • A working knowledge of SAP will be advantageous.
