Aviation Supply Chain Compliance Specialist

Hire Resolve's client in the Aviation Manufacturing sector is seeking a dedicated Supply Chain Compliance Officer. This role is crucial in ensuring adherence to all pertinent regulations and legislation within the aviation manufacturing domain. The selected candidate will collaborate with both internal and external partners to formulate and execute policies and procedures that foster ethical business practices and maintain the integrity of the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and oversee supplier agreements and projections
  • Assess and manage supplier performance, implementing corrective measures as necessary
  • Create and sustain Supply Chain OPPS mapping
  • Oversee and uphold OPPS processes, leading audits on these operations
  • Ensure reliable and cost-effective external supply for the organization
  • Meet the organization's financial and performance objectives
  • Establish and maintain robust processes throughout the supply chain
  • Manage supplier relationships and performance through continuous engagement and sharing of Rate Readiness data
  • Guarantee continuity of supply while minimizing stockouts and obsolescence
  • Maintain auditable processes to enhance efficiency within the Supply Chain
  • Ensure supplier contracts are competent and compliant
  • Oversee the Conbid process
  • Create and maintain precise forecasts
  • Ensure comprehensive supplier mapping
  • Manage Import Permit processes
  • Maintain the Approved Supplier list
  • Handle Insurance claims
  • Conduct Risk Management and maintain a departmental risk register

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related discipline
  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in the aviation manufacturing sector
  • SAPICS CSCP and/or CPIM certifications are advantageous
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and SYSPRO
  • Familiarity with other ERP software is beneficial
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, interpersonal, and influencing skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
  • Able to perform under pressure and manage emergency situations
  • Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy
  • Effective time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet objectives
  • Ability to engage others collaboratively and commit to team development
  • Assertive, resilient, and adaptable to change
