About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Oracle FMW Administrator to join our team at NTT DATA. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for ensuring the availability, integrity, and performance of our complex and critical data assets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Database Administration: Perform the installation, configuration, and maintenance of complex database management systems Oracle FMW as required.
  • Incident Resolution: Work independently to resolve all escalated incidents/requests in a timely manner within the agreed SLA, providing timely and consistent updates of tickets with resolution tasks performed.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with software developers/architects to design and optimize database schemas, data models, and database-related applications.
  • Documentation: Participate in the writing of database documentation, including data standards, data flow diagrams, standard operating procedures, and definitions for the data dictionary (metadata).
  • Performance Monitoring: Monitor Oracle FMW performance, identify performance bottlenecks, and optimize queries and indexing for optimal database performance.
  • Backup and Recovery: Design and implement robust backup and disaster recovery strategies to ensure data availability and business continuity.
  • Security: Implement and manage security measures to safeguard databases from unauthorized access, data breaches, and data loss.
  • Communication: Communicate regularly with technical, applications, and operational employees to ensure database integrity and security.
Requirements
  • Advanced Proficiency: Advanced proficiency in Oracle FMW administration tasks, including FMW installation, configuration, maintenance, and performance tuning.
  • SQL Knowledge: Strong knowledge of SQL (Structured Query Language) to write complex queries, stored procedures, and functions.
  • Database Security: Understanding of database security principles, access controls, and data encryption methods.
  • Backup and Recovery: Advanced working knowledge in Oracle FMW backup and recovery strategies to ensure data availability and business continuity.
  • Communication Skills: Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
