HR Generalist

Our client, a renowned retreat in South Africa, is seeking an experienced HR Generalist to join their esteemed team at The Legends Agency. Location: Knysna

Estimated Salary Range: R 12 000 - R 18 000 per annum

This role entails overseeing all essential HR functions, providing comprehensive support to staff, and fostering a positive and collaborative work environment. As an HR Generalist, you will be responsible for assisting managers and employees with HR policies and procedures, including employee relations, engagement, recruitment, benefits, legislation, and wellness.

Key Responsibilities:

• Providing guidance on HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance and adherence
• Handling employee relations, grievances, and disciplinary matters with sensitivity and professionalism
• Supporting the recruitment process, including job postings, interviews, and onboarding
• Maintaining accurate records of employee data, including performance appraisals and training needs
• Fostering a culture of inclusivity, diversity, and respect within the organization

To excel in this role, you should possess a degree in Human Resources or Organizational/Industrial Psychology. Additionally, you should have at least 2 years of experience in a similar position, demonstrating strong MS Office skills, people management abilities, and knowledge of HR legislature and amendments. Familiarity with Sectoral Determination 6 and 14 is advantageous, as is experience with PSiber/HRIS systems.
