Printing Machine Operator

We are seeking a skilled Printing Machine Operator to join our team at FACT. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for operating our Gravure Printing Machine efficiently and effectively.
Key Responsibilities- Operate the Gravure Printing Machine: Ensure that the machine is running smoothly and efficiently, meeting production targets and minimizing waste.
- Produce High-Quality Products: Ensure that all products meet the specified quality norms and are approved by the quality department.
- Maintain Machine Health: Identify and rectify any problems that arise during machine operation, working closely with the maintenance team to minimize downtime.
- Ensure Safety and Compliance: Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to industrial safety, food safety, and personal hygiene compliance.
- Monitor and Report: Maintain daily input and output reconciliation of consumed raw materials and produced printed material, and report any issues to the shift in charge.
- Follow Plant Rules: Adhere to plant HR rules for entry and exit, and disciplinary acts.
- Encourage a Clean and Safe Environment: Maintain a clean and safe working environment, promoting a positive and healthy work culture.
- Actual Production vs. Set Target: Monitor and report daily and monthly production against set targets.
- Process Waste vs. Set Target: Monitor and report daily and monthly process waste against set targets.
- Internal/External Quality Complaints: Monitor and report daily and monthly internal and external quality complaints.
- External Quality Complaints and Rejection: Monitor and report external quality complaints and rejection against set targets.
- Personal and Industrial Safety: Adhere to personal and industrial safety guidelines.
- QMS and Food Safety Compliance: Adhere to QMS and food safety compliance guidelines while operating the machine.
- Learning and Training: Learn and train on machine operation with the help of assigned senior machine operators and under the guidance of the reporting manager.
- Relationship Building: Maintain good relationships with machine team members and the reporting manager.
- Diploma in Printing/Mechanical/ITI: Hold a diploma in printing, mechanical, or ITI with 2-6 years of relevant industry experience.
- Knowledge of Printing Inks/Gravure Printing/Mechanical: Have knowledge of printing inks, gravure printing, and mechanical.
- Computer Skills: Have basic computer skills and the ability to operate computer applications like MS Office.
- Presentation and Communication: Be presentable and have good communication skills.
