Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Printing Machine Operator to join our team at FACT. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for operating our Gravure Printing Machine efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Operate the Gravure Printing Machine: Ensure that the machine is running smoothly and efficiently, meeting pre-defined production and waste targets.
  2. Produce High-Quality Products: Produce products that meet the specified quality norms and are approved by our quality department.
  3. Identify and Resolve Issues: Identify any problems with the machine and communicate them to the shift in charge, working with the maintenance team to resolve the issue quickly and minimize downtime.
  4. Maintain Machine Health: Ensure that the machine is properly maintained, following industrial safety, food safety, and personal hygiene compliance guidelines.
  5. Monitor Production: Accountable for maintaining daily input and output reconciliation of consumed raw materials and produced printed material.
  6. Follow Plant Rules: Responsible for following the rules set by our plant HR department for plant entry and exit, as well as disciplinary acts.
  7. Encourage a Clean and Safe Environment: Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
Key Performance Indicators
  1. Actual Production vs. Set Target: Monitor daily and monthly production against set targets.
  2. Actual Process Waste vs. Set Target: Ensure that finished products exceed customer expectations.
  3. Internal/External Quality Complaints: Monitor daily and monthly internal and external quality complaints found in produced products.
  4. External Quality Complaints and Rejection: Monitor external quality complaints and rejection after sale within set target norms.
  5. Personal and Industrial Safety: Follow personal and industrial safety guidelines.
  6. QMS and Food Safety Compliance: Follow QMS and food safety compliance guidelines in the department while machine operation.
  7. Learning and Training: Learn and train machine operation with the help of assigned senior machine operators and under the guidance of the reporting manager within set timelines.
  8. Relationship Building: Maintain good relationships with machine team members and the reporting manager.
Qualifications
  1. Diploma in Printing/Mechanical/ITI: Diploma in Printing, Mechanical, or ITI with 2-6 years of relevant industry experience.
Skills
  1. Knowledge of Printing Inks/Gravure Printing/Mechanical: Should have knowledge of printing inks, Gravure printing, and mechanical.
  2. Computer Skills: Should have knowledge of computers and skill to operate computers on basic applications like MS Office.
  3. Presentation and Communication: Should be presentable and have good and clear communication skills.
