About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Paralegal to join our team at AF Consulting. As a key member of our legal team, you will be responsible for providing administrative support and assisting with the management of estates.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with Estate Administration: Provide support in the winding up of estates, ensuring all legal requirements are met, and reporting estates to the relevant authorities.
  • Drafting and Review: Draft and review L&D (Liquidation and Distribution) statements with meticulous attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and compliance with legal regulations.
  • Administrative Support: Provide general administrative support to the legal team, including file management, client correspondence, and other general law work.
Requirements
  • Qualifications: Admitted attorney with a minimum of two years of experience in estates and wills, or a paralegal with extensive experience in relevant areas.
  • Skills and Knowledge: Strong understanding of legal accounting principles, proficiency in Ghost software or similar legal software, excellent communication and organizational skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
