Directorship at Thamnus Wines

The day-to-day operational management of the farms will be the responsibility of the Farm Manager / Winemaker, who will report to the Director. The Director position will require the successful applicant to dedicate an average of one and a half days per week (one day per week on the farm) to represent the company and oversee the following functions:

- Strategy, planning and budgeting
- Assisting with marketing and sales
- General oversight and monitoring to ensure the good running of the farm
- Signing of relevant documents
- Liaising with holding company and owners
- Accounting, reporting, compliance and liaising with Accountants
- Legal matters, contracts and liaising with lawyers
- Banking and cash flow
- Liaising with contractors
- Staffing and operational issues

This position is ideal for a person who served in a senior managerial / financial position and who has experience in the wine / agricultural industry.
