This role is responsible for selling Fibre and Wireless connectivity products to the Residential market. The Sales Agent will also actively call on potential new clients, such as pole hosts, residential estates, and other communities, to maintain good customer relationships and achieve sales objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Call on residential customers in the region to sell Fibre and Wireless products, including signing up of pole hosts and residential customers.
  • Answer incoming sales calls and process them efficiently.
  • Achieve personal monthly sales objectives and KPIs as set by the company.
  • Maintain the company's customer base via effective account management.
  • Grow the company's customer base via identification of new opportunities and converting those opportunities into new customers.
  • Track and report key personal sales metrics on a daily basis.
  • Meticulously manage tickets and ensure timely resolution.
  • Conduct desktop feasibility studies and site surveys for customers (Fibre/Wireless).
  • Ensure strict adherence to all SOPs and other internal processes.
  • Capture customer information, orders, invoices, compliances, and all related information accurately on the company's systems.
  • Attend and assist with marketing events where necessary.
  • Actively communicate key competitor information to the team.
  • Embody the highest levels of professionalism, integrity, honesty, and adherence to company policies and procedures.
  • Effectively follow-through on all tasks assigned by the team leader.
  • Always portray the company to stakeholders in a positive light.
Requirements
  • Minimum 2-3 years of Sales and Technical experience in the Telecoms/IT space.
  • Proven sales experience with a track record of success.
  • Ownership – able to take responsibility, troubleshoot problems, and work with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to work under pressure and comfortable operating in a fast-changing environment.
  • Able to cultivate trust and credibility and maintain strong working relationships.
  • Relationship building and negotiation skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Self-management and time management skills.
  • Grade 12 is required.
