Mirna Butler Recruitment is currently seeking an experienced Electrical Technical Operations Manager to join our team. This role will be based in either Cape Town, George or Bloemfontein.

About the Role

This is a senior leadership position that requires extensive experience in electrical operations management, construction, and engineering. The ideal candidate will have a degree in Electrical Engineering and a minimum of 10 years' experience in tender and project management.

The successful candidate will possess excellent leadership skills, with the ability to motivate various teams across multiple branches. They will also have a sound understanding of managing tender pricing, contracts, and project planning, as well as expertise in MS Projects and Candy Construction Software.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage electrical technical operations, ensuring compliance with SANS10142 and material control standards.
  • Develop and implement tender pricing strategies, managing contracts and projects from inception to completion.
  • Motivate and direct multiple teams, fostering a culture of excellence and innovation.
  • Identify training requirements and manage IR-related matters, ensuring a safe working environment.
  • Provide expert problem-solving and organizational abilities, leveraging software skills to drive operational efficiency.
Requirements
  • Degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • Minimum 10 years' experience in electrical, construction, or engineering, specifically in tender and project management environments.
  • Sound understanding of managing tender pricing, contracts, and project planning.
  • Natural leadership style to motivate various teams.
  • Proven technical aptitude and expert problem-solving abilities.
  • Expert software skills in MS Projects and Candy Construction Software.
  • Valid driver's license and own vehicle.
  • Clear criminal and credit record.
