Job Title: Supply Chain Supervisor

TalentCru is seeking an experienced Supply Chain Supervisor to join our team in Western Cape. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities of our warehouse and distribution center.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage a team of warehouse and distribution staff, ensuring high levels of productivity and efficiency.
  • Monitor attendance and ensure all staff are wearing the correct personal protective equipment.
  • Administer leave for all employees and ensure accurate record-keeping.
  • Develop and implement forward planning strategies to meet business objectives.
  • Ensure training, performance management, and succession planning are in place for team members.
  • Compile daily complement reports and communicate with the ADFusion Shift Manager.
  • Ensure all toolbox tasks are completed before each shift and that the shift runs smoothly.
Requirements:
  • Grade 12 qualification or equivalent.
  • Clear understanding of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
  • Experience in a logistics and distribution environment.
  • Computer literacy, with advanced Excel skills.
  • Strong numeric and verbal reasoning ability.
  • Working knowledge of Labour Legislation.
Working Conditions:
  • The job entails reporting directly to the Operations Manager.
  • The working temperature on the DC floor ranges from 1°C to -28°C.
  • Full medicals are required yearly.
  • Manage multi-shifted production and convenience teams, and may be required to work outside normal working hours.
Knowledge and Skills:
  • Managing large complements of employees.
  • Recruitment industry knowledge.
  • Customer service principles and client-centricity.
  • Computer literacy, with advanced Excel skills.
  • Strong numeric and verbal reasoning ability.
