Supply Chain Manager Job Description

At One Connect Technologies, we are seeking a highly skilled Supply Chain Manager to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in optimizing our supply chain processes, ensuring timely delivery of materials, and maintaining our commitment to sustainability.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and Execute Supply Chain Strategies: Create and implement supply chain strategies aligned with company goals, ensuring seamless integration with cross-functional teams.
  • Global Supply Chain Oversight: Oversee all aspects of the global supply chain, including procurement, demand planning, inventory management, transportation, distribution, and warranty claim management.
  • Procurement and Inventory Management: Manage procurement, inventory, logistics, and warranty claims globally, ensuring compliance with regulations and cost-effectiveness.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with Product Development, Sales, Marketing, and Finance to ensure alignment and effective coordination of supply chain activities.
  • Logistics and Distribution: Develop cost-effective logistics strategies, ensuring compliance with regulations, and lead the development and implementation of efficient and cost-effective logistics strategies.
  • Inventory Optimization: Optimize inventory levels to balance customer service and capital requirements, using advanced forecasting techniques for demand planning and inventory management.
  • Supplier Management: Negotiate with suppliers for high-quality materials at competitive prices, assess supplier performance, and implement necessary improvements.
  • Warranty Claim Process: Establish warranty claim processes to enhance customer satisfaction, and monitor supply chain metrics for continuous improvement.
  • Industry Trends and Innovations: Stay updated on industry trends and integrate innovations into supply chain strategies, promoting sustainability within the supply chain.
Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelor degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field, advanced degree is a plus.
  • Experience: Proven experience in global supply chain management, logistics, warranty claim management, and operations, preferably within the renewable energy industry or a related sector.
  • Skills: Strong knowledge of supply chain principles and international trade regulations, proficient in supply chain software and analytical tools, excellent negotiation, problem-solving, and relationship-building skills.
