TalentCru is seeking an experienced Supply Chain Supervisor to join our team in Western Cape. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities of our warehouse and distribution center.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a team of warehouse and distribution staff to ensure efficient and effective operations.
  • Monitor attendance and ensure all staff are wearing the correct PPE.
  • Administer leave for all employees and ensure accurate records are kept.
  • Responsible for forward planning, training, performance management, and succession planning.
  • Compile daily complement reports and ensure all toolbox tasks are completed before the shift starts.
  • Ensure the shift runs smoothly and queries are dealt with in a timely manner.
Requirements
  • Grade 12 qualification.
  • Clear understanding of WMS and experience in a logistics and distribution environment.
  • Computer literacy with advanced Excel skills.
  • Strong numeric and verbal reasoning ability.
  • Working knowledge of Labour Legislation.
Working Conditions
  • The job entails reporting directly to the Operations Manager.
  • The working temperature on the DC floor ranges from 1°C to -28°C.
  • Full medicals are required yearly.
  • Manage multi-shifted production and convenience teams and may be required to work outside normal working hours.

  • Managing large complements of employees.

  • Computer literacy with advanced Excel skills.
  • Strong numeric and verbal reasoning ability.
