Salary Information

The estimated salary range for this position is R55-60k pm, offering a competitive compensation package that reflects the company's commitment to rewarding its employees.

Job Responsibilities

As a Senior Accountant with DO MORE Placements, you will be responsible for a range of critical accounting functions, including:

  • Managing accounts receivable, preparing and distributing client invoices, and updating clients' Statements of Accounts (SoAs)
  • Performing international entity reconciliations and managing DTA's
  • Posting client invoices in the accounting software
  • Reconciling and posting bank statements
  • Verifying correctness of vendor invoices via established reconciliation processes

In addition to these core responsibilities, you will also assist with month-end close procedures, prepare financial statements, and contribute to improving existing accounting processes.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A University degree in Accounting, Business, or Economics
  • 3-5 years of experience in accounting or finance, with a strong focus on international finance
  • Working knowledge of MS Office, particularly Excel
  • Practical knowledge of accounting software, such as QuickBooks Online or Xero
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in English
