Job Description:

The Land and Agricultural Bank of South Africa is a specialist bank that has been serving the needs of South African commercial and emerging farmers since 1912.

Main Responsibilities:
  1. To provide technical support to the provincial team in evaluating business cases for financing clients, including conducting on-site visits to assess potential risks and financial viability.
  2. To conduct agronomical and financial assessments for high-risk and delinquent clients, providing recommendations for remediation and rating farms/businesses according to risk models.
  3. To manage collateral, identify shortfalls, and prevent financial losses by effectively managing the Collateral Management System (CMS) policy.
  4. To refer farmers to service providers and make recommendations to improve farm status and mitigate risks.
