Job Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong background in procurement and supply chain management. You will also need to have excellent communication and negotiation skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Essential Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field
- 4-6 years of experience in a similar role, specializing in imports
- Experience in the chemical industry (advantageous)
- Purchasing qualification (advantageous)
- Working knowledge of INCOTERMS
- Advanced skills in MS Office, particularly Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP) and ERP systems (SAP, IFS, etc.)
- Fluent in English and Afrikaans (written and verbal)
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills

Desirable Skills and Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field
- 8-10 years of experience in a similar role, specializing in imports
- Senior purchasing certification
- Expertise in ERP systems (Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, etc.)
