Job Description

Main Objective:

  • To oversee and manage administrative tasks and support the smooth operation of the branch.

About the Role:

This position is responsible for providing comprehensive administrative support to the Branch and staff, handling incoming and outgoing correspondence, maintaining and updating office records, files, and databases.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Provide administrative support to the Branch and staff.
  2. Handle correspondence and maintain office records.
  3. Schedule meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements.
  4. Prepare and distribute meeting agendas, minutes, and relevant documents.
  5. Liaise with the Account Manager on customer invoicing, delivery dates, and payment collection.
  6. Control branch stock levels and manage inventory.
  7. Ensure completion of Contractors/Service Packs and Vendor Applications.
  8. Accurately capture data for Certificates of Compliance/Service Reports.

Requirements:

  • Grade 12/Matric; additional certification in office administration or secretarial certificate.
  • 3 years administrative experience, preferably in a mining environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), Advanced Microsoft Excel (essential).
  • Valid driver's license.
