Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Administrative Support Specialist to join our team at FirstRand Bank Limited. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing efficient and effective administration support to ensure the smooth running of a functional area.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage costs and expenses within approved budgets to achieve cost efficiencies.
- Cultivate and manage objective working relationships with stakeholders, including end-users, SMEs, project managers, and senior staff members.
- Resolve customer queries efficiently and within agreed timelines.
- Deliver exceptional service that exceeds customers' expectations through proactive, innovative, and appropriate solutions.
- Monitor changes in laws, regulations, initiatives, and industry practices, and implement appropriate interventions.
- Comply with governance requirements, including legislative and audit requirements.
- Set up and maintain filing systems to ensure efficient service is provided.
- Maintain administrative processes for the department's operational activities.
- Provide accurate and timely management information.
- Plan and manage performance, skills development, employment equity, talent, and culture of the team to improve innovation, achieve efficiencies, and increase competencies.
- Manage own development to increase own competencies.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in administration, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
