As a Clinical Facilitator, you will be responsible for assessing staff competence, planning education and training requirements, supporting and facilitating staff and students to reach specific learning objectives.

The ideal candidate will have a Grade 12 qualification, a Professional Nursing Qualification (Registered with SANC), and at least 5 years of proven work experience in a multi-disciplinary Intensive Care Unit / Critical care unit. Excellent interpersonal skills, organisational and problem-solving skills are also essential.

Responsibilities:
  • Assess staff competence according to company standards
  • Plan, prepare, implement, and manage the education and training requirements
  • Support and facilitate staff and students to reach specific learning objectives
  • Incorporate standard technology aids/tools to enhance the learning experience and to upskill learners in the use of medical equipment
  • Assist with the review of all Nursing documentation as and when requested
  • Implement and maintain the standard patient documentation
  • Seek to create opportunities for identifying and leveraging high potential learners by setting challenging learning channels
  • Commitment to initiate and implement continuous improvement projects
  • An established interest in staff development
  • A critical aptitude with regard to patient quality care
  • Take corrective measures to improve skills
Requirements:
  • Grade 12
  • Professional Nursing Qualification (Registered with SANC)
  • Knowledge of scope of practice of all Nursing categories as well as the regulations of the SANC
  • At least 5 years of proven work experience in a multi-disciplinary Intensive Care Unit / Critical care unit, including Cardio Thoracic, Neurosurgery, Vascular, General Surgery, and Medical
  • A working knowledge of Trauma, Midwifery and Paediatrics
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, organisational and problem-solving skills
  • Driver's license and own transport
  • Flexible shifts to accommodate all shifts
