  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor and validate all invoices to prevent discrepancies and errors.
  • Prepare a debtor report and submit it to the Finance Manager on a daily/weekly/monthly basis for review and analysis.
  • Credit Notes: Review and verify credit notes issued to customers to ensure accurate accounting and compliance with financial regulations.
  • Collections and Reconciliations: Manage the collection of outstanding debts from customers and reconcile any discrepancies in accounts payable and receivable.
  • Adhoc reports: Provide ad-hoc reports to the Finance Manager as required to support business decision-making.
  • Credit vetting: Conduct thorough credit checks on new customers to assess their creditworthiness and risk.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com) degree or equivalent qualification.
  • A minimum of 3-4 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a manufacturing industry setting.
  • Proficiency in Sage Evolution software and experience using it in a financial operations context.
Salary and Benefits:
  • R300,000 - R360,000 per annum, depending on experience.
