Job Title: Workshop Operations Coordinator

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Workshop Operations Coordinator to join our team at Business Capital Group. As a key member of our workshop operations team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of our facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate all activities within the workshop, including pump repairs, maintenance, and testing.
  • Ensure all repairs and maintenance work meet company standards and customer expectations by implementing and overseeing quality control processes.
  • Manage inventory levels of parts and tools, place orders as needed, and ensure proper storage and handling.
  • Enforce safety protocols and ensure that the workshop adheres to all health and safety regulations.
  • Liaise with customers to understand their needs, provide updates on repair progress, and address any concerns or issues.
  • Maintain accurate records of work completed, materials used, and other relevant metrics. Prepare reports for senior management as required.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A strong understanding of workshop operations and quality control procedures.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise with customers and colleagues effectively.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible approach to workload and deadlines.
  • Basic computer literacy, with proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (e.g., Word, Excel, Outlook).

Working Environment:

You will be working in a fast-paced workshop environment, with regular exposure to machinery, tools, and potentially hazardous substances. A high level of physical fitness is required, with the ability to lift heavy objects and work in confined spaces when necessary.

Salary: $70,000 - $90,000 per annum, depending on experience.
