Job Description

The primary objective of this role is to identify and capitalize on new business opportunities, encompassing emerging markets, growth areas, trends, customers, products, services, and align long-term objectives with the company's needs and requirements.

  • Responsibilities include leading and developing sales teams to maximize product/service penetration into all accounts.
  • Assisting sales staff with proposals and presentations to effectively engage with clients.
  • Developing and implementing strategies to extend the existing customer base and maintain high levels of client satisfaction.
  • Aligning sales resources to ensure consistent engagement and achievement of agreed-upon sales goals.
  • Leading, motivating, and selecting a diverse sales force in the region, ensuring they are adequately trained, coached, and guided to achieve goals and maximum potential.
Staff Management
  • Ensure each objective set for the team is achieved and measured, assessing performance on a half-yearly basis.
  • Lead, motivate, develop, and direct the team, equipping them to perform their job roles and responsibilities.
  • Provide necessary training to enable the team to complete their roles successfully to their maximum potential.
Education/Qualification
  • Maturity certificate or equivalent.
  • BCom/Business Science, BA Business Management or equivalent.
Skills & Competencies
  • Thorough understanding of turnover, profitability, sales cycle, aged stock, and key products.
  • Strong business acumen.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
  • High level of interpersonal skills.
  • Leadership skills.
  • Ability to plan and delegate assignments.
  • Strong presentational skills.
  • Excellent business acumen.
  • Proficiency in networking skills.
  • Ability to think beyond immediate customer requirements.

Experience (Required)
  • Minimum 3-5 years in Sales Management role.
