About the Role:

ZA002 Marsh Africa (Pty) Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Portfolio Client Executive to join our team in the Sandton office. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional client service and driving business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.
  • Work closely with sales professionals, insurers, and administrators to ensure seamless claims, underwriting, and renewal processes.
  • Ensure compliance with technical delivery standards and implement effective risk management strategies.
  • Facilitate audits to identify and mitigate risks, adhering to CE and CFP principles.
  • Provide financial reporting and budgeting support to ensure accurate forecasting and allocation of commissions.
  • Participate in cross-selling and upselling initiatives to drive new business growth and client retention.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure effective retention and growth.
  • Stay up-to-date with local insurance markets and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with functional business units, insurers, and administrators to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Adhere to all Marsh compliance policies, business practices, and training requirements.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in commercial client service environment.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in specialist markets, such as liability, D&O, and cyber.
  • Relevant formal qualification.
  • Must have RE 5, CPD, and FAIS compliance as per DOFA.
  • Fluent in English and Afrikaans.
  • Proficient in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Commercial insurance brokerage experience.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
