About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Lead Mining Infrastructure Project Manager to join our team in the Northern Cape. As a seasoned professional, you will oversee the planning, organization, and execution of civil and structural aspects of mining projects.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement project plans, ensuring timely completion within budget constraints.
- Collaborate with business partners to resolve engineering and site-related issues.
- Conduct quantity certification and quality checks to maintain high standards.
- Manage related drawings, documents, and commissioning protocols.
- Evaluate key risks and proactively highlight potential issues.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Civil/Construction Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum 5-10 years of experience in civil and structural engineering within the mining industry.
- Proven experience in project management roles and execution through EPC/Construction partners.
- Strong understanding of civil and infrastructure aspects, including foundations, roads, drains, and secondary infrastructure.
Compensation:
The estimated salary for this position is R1,200,000 per annum, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
