About the Role:

At Dimension Data, we are seeking a highly skilled Senior Security Analyst to join our team. As a Senior Security Analyst, you will play a key role in analyzing network infrastructure, security, and compliance issues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform assessments of our physical and virtual networks to identify security vulnerabilities.
  • Work with clients to identify new ways to improve their cybersecurity posture.
  • Help build tools that are used in the day-to-day operation of a company's IT environment by utilizing cutting-edge technologies.

Requirements:

  • Provide in-depth information regarding the functional and non-functional characteristics of systems, networks, software, and/or applications.
  • Monitor and evaluate compliance with organizational security standards, policies, and procedures.
  • Evaluate and manage external data sources to support the development of critical security assessments.
  • Facilitate database reconnaissance to identify and extract specific information.

Qualifications:

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft technologies is preferred.
  • Experience working with network infrastructure, operating systems, routers/switches, firewalls, and other common IT components.
  • Experience with scripting languages such as Perl or Python is preferred.
  • Working knowledge and understanding of existing and proposed federal and state laws/regulations, including HIPAA, PCI DSS, GDPR, etc., is necessary.
