Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Senior Portfolio Accountant to join our team at Network Recruitment. In this role, you will be responsible for managing financial reporting for multiple portfolios, ensuring accurate and timely reporting of all financial activities.

Key responsibilities include preparing and reviewing management accounts, financial statements, and budgets for allocated portfolios. You will also ensure compliance with internal and external financial regulations and accounting standards, providing detailed financial analysis and insight to support decision-making within the business.

Additional duties include assisting with the preparation of audit packs and coordinating with Auditors during the audit process. You will also track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the financial health of the portfolio.

This is a challenging opportunity for an individual who has experience in accounting, preferably within the property, asset management, or real estate sector. A BCom or similar qualification in Accounting or Finance is required, as well as strong understanding of IFRS and financial reporting standards.

About the Role

This role reports to the Portfolio Manager and requires 4-7 years of experience in accounting. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of financial reporting standards and excellent analytical skills.

Requirements

A BCom or similar qualification in Accounting or Finance
4-7 years of experience in accounting
