Responsibilities

  • Penetrate the market to develop new business opportunities for commercial print;
  • Grow the sales of corporate clothing range;
  • Sell a range of marketing materials, media, and related products;
  • Look for opportunities to cross and upsell the range of products;
  • Implement effective sales strategies and activities to identify and secure new business;
  • Find and develop client solutions that lead to sales;
  • Meet monthly and annual sales targets;
  • Prepare and present client presentations;
  • Complete sales reports;
  • Handle client liaison and execute administrative responsibilities;

Requirements

  • A matric qualification or equivalent, preferably with a post-matric qualification in sales;
  • A successful track record in sales, preferably in print and labelling;
  • Computer literacy in Word and Excel, and high numeracy skills;
  • A self-motivated, energetic, persistent 'hunter' who can identify and secure new business;
  • A strong customer service orientation with the ability to develop strategic customer relationships;
  • Sound interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with customers and internal staff at all levels;
  • The ability to work according to strict deadlines;
  • A professional appearance;
  • Competence in independently planning and managing own sales initiatives;
  • A methodical, analytical approach with fanatical attention to detail;
  • A passion for selling and exceeding customer expectations;
  • Experience in selling to the agricultural sector is advantageous;
  • Reliable transport and a valid driver's license.

Estimated Salary: R 50,000 - R 70,000 per annum (dependent on experience).
