Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Auto Repair Centre Manager to oversee the daily operations of our auto repair centre in the United Kingdom. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective management of the centre, including supervising personnel, coordinating activities, and maintaining high standards of quality and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and supervise a team of technicians and support staff to ensure efficient operations and high-quality repairs.
  • Coordinate and oversee the daily activities of the auto repair centre, including scheduling, inventory management, and customer service.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve customer satisfaction, quality, and productivity.
  • Conduct regular inspections of vehicles to identify faulty components and ensure complete fixing.
  • Communicate with customers to notify them of costs to repair additional faults or of finished repairs, and to provide information on scheduled services.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with customers to generate revenue and encourage repeat business.
  • Supervise the operations of mechanics to ensure time management and quality proceeds.
  • Comply with health and safety regulations and procedures, ensuring appropriate disposal of environmental wastes.
  • Present reports and updates to the owner.
  • Conduct repair price negotiations with clients to arrive at a favorable bargain.
  • Maintain records of all vehicle repairs and maintenance.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 4 years' management experience in the automotive industry.
  • A fitting/mechanic background.
