Job Title: Junior Engineer

At Abantu Staffing Solutions, we are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Junior Engineer to join our team. As a Junior Engineer, you will play a key role in designing and implementing process solutions that drive operational efficiency and excellence.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement 4-step design workflows for each process within our operational scope.
  • Create Process Solution Blueprints (PSB) for each solution, outlining key design elements and requirements.
  • Design and develop Process Design Documents (PDD) for each process, ensuring clarity and precision.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop System Functional Specifications as required.
  • Establish Standard Work Instructions (SWI) for each process, ensuring consistency and quality.
  • Lead the implementation of design solutions through project management, ensuring timely and effective delivery.
  • Provide necessary training and support to ensure seamless solution implementation.
  • Establish processes and structures to monitor solution effectiveness against Service Level Agreements (SLA) with customers.
  • Identify and rectify design-related issues that deviate from SLA, ensuring prompt resolution.
  • Support operational departments in rectifying deviations from SLA due to operations-related issues.
  • Continuously identify opportunities to improve solution effectiveness and efficiency, driving process optimization.
  • Execute operational responsibilities as required by customers, including engineering changes and special projects.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng) or Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) in Industrial or Mechanical Engineering.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word, and MS PowerPoint is a must.
  • Advanced experience in Access, Excel, Visio, and MS Project is an advantage.
Experience:
  • Up to 3 years of practical experience in industrial engineering, logistics, or similar disciplines.
  • Experience in the automotive industry is an advantage.
Knowledge and Skills:
  • Professional knowledge of theory and techniques in a specialized field or multiple fields acquired through tertiary education and/or experience.
