Job Title: Sales Executive

A prominent Global Health Company is seeking a Sales Executive to join its Sales team based in Johannesburg North and Johannesburg West.

The ideal candidate will be customer-focused and possess excellent account management, engagement, negotiation, and execution skills. This person should be passionate about their work and have the ability to add value while contributing to the growth of the business.

Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for sales, promotions, and launches of company products.
  • Focus on wholesalers, distributors, independent & retail pharmacies, physiotherapy, and institution spaces.
  • Tasked with building and growing Health and Medical Solution brands.
  • Responsible for sales activities within the territory to achieve business objectives.
  • Market awareness and analysis to identify trends, opportunities, growth hurdles and competitor activities.
  • Effectively plan and execute sales calls (face-to-face and virtual).
  • Attain and exceed sales targets.
  • Ensure customer education and information of the brand and product ranges.
  • Roll out training sessions with customers to ensure correct product application.
  • Responsible for handling pricing discussions and negotiations.
  • Prompt delivery on sales agreements and customer orders.
  • Regularly communicate with internal stakeholders to ensure customer satisfaction and order fulfillment.
  • Responsible for administrative tasks, planning, reporting, presenting sales analysis & reviews, placing of orders, and following up on marketing activities.

  • Must be able to work independently and be a team player, Must be able to work under pressure, with strong prioritizing skills;
  • Must be fluent in English;
  • Must have a valid RSA Driver's License.
Requirements:
  • Must have a matric and preferably further qualification in Sales or Sales & Marketing.
  • 3-5 years' Medical Sales experience within in Pharmaceutical or FMCG medical industry.
  • Excellent computer skills - Microsoft package experience is essential with CRM knowledge.
